About the ACMA
Representing the entire catalog industry is our mission, and we do this by forming the broadest possible association of catalogers all working together "under one tent" regardless of individual competitive positions or allegiances. Our membership is growing on a daily basis and includes both niche focused titles and well-established household names.
We are governed by representatives elected by our members. Election of our Board of Directors occurs annually. Our Board establishes committees as our primary working unit. All Committees report to the Board. We currently have committees with this focus and responsibility:
- Executive
- Postal Affairs
- Membership
Other committees will be established by the Board upon need.
The American Catalog Mailers Association (ACMA) is a 501(c) 6 not-for-profit membership organization. Some portion of member dues not attributable to lobbying activities may be deductible for our member companies. Members must seek the advice of their tax professional as to the deductibility of their dues expenses. The ACMA will provide its members with an annual summary of lobbying expenses.
